Job description

The ideal candidate possesses a passion for sales and networking and drive to build and manage client relationships, has a Bachelor’s degree, and great presentation skills. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and energetic candidate to join a growing professional team with a culture of providing opportunity and mentor ship.

This position will be responsible for business development in the following territories; Chicago, Nashville, Denver, and Phoenix and work in our Dallas, TX location.
 

The Business Development Associate role requires the following experience:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Show enthusiasm and support for the company, culture and team
  • Energetic and outgoing personality with a strong orientation toward customer service and team building
  • Ability to quickly grasp company’s service offering and vision, develop and implement tactical plans
  • Generate leads and opportunities focused on the ABeam portfolio of services and products
  • Drive the sales management process from pursuit to close and uncover up-selling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Develop and expand professional contacts
  • Use social media to develop interest in ABeam services and products
  • Engage with the marketing department to develop strategic campaign plans for new business generation
  • Driven to advance within the company
  • Provide account management
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Tech savvy with excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and exercise sound judgment and discretion
  • Generate leads and opportunities focused on the ABeam portfolio of services and products
  • Drive the sales management process from pursuit to close and uncover up-selling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Develop and expand professional contacts

  • Provide pursuit and proposal support in the development of opportunities
 
Responsibilities include:
 
  • Develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting
  • Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new market and industry changes and company products and services through ongoing research
  • Establish and manage strategic relationships with clients, alliances and partners
  • Ability to understand, analyze and navigate a competitive market
  • Skilled in finding innovative and creative new approaches to develop new business
  • Accomplished in building relationships and collaborating with multiple internal and external parties
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Must be willing to travel extensively
